SiemensSiemens VBII safety switches provide superior performance and application flexibility. An extended array of accessories and replacement parts reduce installation costs. They feature quick make and break operation and visible blade construction. Available 30-1200 Amps, Fusible and non-fusible and for AC and DC applications. The variety of NEMA rated enclosures allow for versatile environmental applications.

UL98 Rotary Disconnects

These Siemens UL 98 fusible rotary disconnects are available in 30-800A ratings. Non-fusible, 30A switches, are also available. They can be used on circuits that are rated through 200K and use Class J fuses in 30-600A ratings and Class L fuses at 800A. Class CC fusing is also offered at 30A. They feature quick make and quick break operation. Rotary handles are available for Type 1,3R and 12 or for 4X applications.

  • Compact Size:  Class CC or J fuse provisions combined with a front fuse mounting location, allowing the equipment enclosure size to be greatly reduced. Reduced size 30 & 60A 100K AIC rated switches are also available.
  • 30A Rotary handles are available for Type 1,3R and 12 or for 4X applications.
  • Flexibility: 30-800A disconnects are available with various handles and accessories.
  • Easy Installation:  Simple door handle cutouts and four-hole switch mounting. Lugs are factory installed on 30-100A switches.
  • Padlockable:  All handles are padlockable with up to three padlocks in the OFF position.

UL98 Visible Blade Disconnects

These Siemens UL98 Visible blade disconnects are available in 30-600A ratings. Two types of handles are offered: Flange mounted handles – available for all ratings and Door mounted, rotary handles – available for 300-200A MCS switches. Also offered are labor saving flange mounted switches – for 30-200A ratings.

  • Easy Installation: Line base, load base and the operating mechanism are factory installed on a mounting pan on VBII type disconnects, reducing labor costs.
  • Padlockable: All are padlockable with up to three padlocks with 5/16″ hasps in the OFF position.

General Duty Switches

Siemens General Duty Switches are used for applications where duty requirements are not harsh and normal service conditions are needed.

  • Load break and HP rated, UL98 listed.

  • Ease of Installation: Ample wire bending space and knock-outs in 60-600A ratings speed installation.
  • Padlockable: All are padlockable in the OFF position. The door can also be padlocked when in the closed position.

Heavy Duty Switches

Heavy duty switches are available in 30-1200A ratings and in Type 1, 3R, 12 and 4X enclosures.  Both fusible and non-fusible versions are offered.
